05 a grand day out

"The prize can be anything you want. You name it and if you win, we will try and get it."

That was our promise to those who took part in the Great Glasgow Treasure Trail. Only problem was we only had a budget of £50! So when the winner, Susie Armitage, asked for a holiday, we had a bit of a problem on our hands.

The Solution: Unfortunately Barbados was out of our price range, but we were able to afford a return flight for Susie from Glasgow to London and a mystery prize which she was to collect from the famous Harrods store.

We sent her the flight itinerary along with an envelope with instructions to guide her through each stage of the trip until finally reaching her destination and claim the prize- a rather charming fluffy teddy bear.

Along with the flight details and instructions we provided Susie with a disposable camera and asked her to document her Grand Day Out from start to finish. She kindly obliged and soon after her return, holeinmypocket was pleased to receive a selection of photo's presented in a home made festive photo wallet as well as a miniature bear all of our own.

Many thanks to Susie for her patience while we organised her prize, and for her trust that we weren't sending her on a wild goose chase. [Not that there is anything wrong with chasing wild geese.]
